A courageous teen

FOR AN inspirational story look no further than Carlisle teenager Alex Walker. A kidney transplant at the age of 10 saved Alex’s life. And seven years later she is well enough to climb up Ben Nevis to raise funds for Kidney Research UK.

Well done to Alex and her parents, who have already raised thousands of pounds. Your courage and determination are an example to us all.
