Debate on plans a missed chance

The location, times, publicity and notice given for the exhibition on the Urban Design Guide and Public Realm Framework for Carlisle’s Renaissance can only lead us to conclude that members of Renaissance do not really want to know what the people of Carlisle think about their plans.

Park and ride plan makes little sense

THE plans will make motorists’ eyes water, prompt fierce debate over their wisdom in timing and renew concerned scrutiny of Carlisle’s hopes for growth, development and future prosperity.
