Conference on funding

FARMER groups from across Britain have been invited to a conference at Stoneleigh in November to share good practice and experience.

Regional and national policy makers will be invited to the event so they can see how public funding can deliver rural development objectives through such groups.

The conference, Farmers Building a Future Through Collaboration, will be held on November 27.

It will highlight how such groups can help farmers secure funding from the Rural Development Programme for England.

It has been organised by the National Farmers Network in partnership with the Royal Agricultural Society of England and the Carnegie Trust UK.

Any groups interested in taking part should contact Val Ponder on 0115 9655970.
