YOU GET more pop princess for your money in Carlisle. Kylie Mania, the Kylie Minogue tribute show, is at the Sands Centre tonight – and the Sands is offering a buy one ticket, get one free offer.

The Sands says that existing ticket holders cannot take advantage of the deal.

But even those who have splashed out already get a little something extra for their money – four inches extra. Pint-sized songstress Ms Minogue is 5ft tall while Adele Rankin, who portrays her in Kylie Mania, is 5ft 4in.

Height is one of the few areas in which the 28-year-old Scot does not measure up. She has been impersonating Kylie for three years and her vocal style, dancing, mannerisms and appearance have all been practiced to perfection.
